He should have been identified as the only District 96 administrator who has a 12-month contract. The Landmark regrets the confusion.</em></p> <p>The Landmark also fails to mention the paid 5 weeks vacation and 12 sick/personal days. However, it was discussed in executive session. Although I've questioned the amount of the contract, I don't think discussion in exec session was inappropriate here. And that is something I know about, living right next to the school. It would really help to not have all the cars coming from the North and NorthEast sides of town entering the traffic scrum in front of the schools, would allow them to drop their kids on the playground out of the traffic, and go back home without having to circle around and mix with the morning thru traffic. I've got a drawing for him and it will work. Best of all, it won't require anything more than a couple of portable "ENTER" and "DO NOT ENTER signs and about 8-10 cones that the janitors can put out in the AM when they put out the crosswalk signs. Once school starts, the cones get moved over to block the entry and the playground is secure and usable for PE classes. This simple alternative should relieve much of the congestion out front. I hope it isn't too simple to be considered. </p>
