The sitting Board must cancel this thing now - chalk ity us as a costly and ill-conceived exercise in futility and move on.

I voted for one village trustee: Ben Sells.

I am counting on him to follow through on his opinion that the establishment of a TIF district in Riverside does not meet the requirements of the law: namely, that it does not pass the BUT FOR test. Let's not have the village administration continue to drag us through the Lawyers Relief Act of 2007.

So what you are pointing out is, NO TRUSTEE HAS AS MANY VOTES JUSTIFYING HIS OR HER SEAT AS THERE ARE VOTES AGAINST THE TIF.

I am sure that any person wishing to serve the village would stand down from their seat before they would raise their vote above that of the voters.
