More wondrous sights! Check out the lights at the Riverwalk on the Lyons side of the dam. This may turn out to be an epidemic.

Returning tonight from the Village Board meeting I got another rude awakening courtesy of the Village Center. THE LIGHTS ARE ON! Wall washers - a whole row of them, shooting up at every column so that we will all get to bask in the reflected glare and observe the superb architectural detail and fine aesthetics of this monster. Now we have a fully lit warehouse right in the center of town - whether we need it or want it. It's there - 24/7, and maybe, if we're really lucky, we'll have some great signs spelling out messages or perhaps a jumbotron where we can watch the price of oil rise and the Bears fall. We're big time now!
