Here's a copy of the agenda that was posted online at approximately 9am this morning.

I don't see any mention of discussion of funds for Kane McKenna, nor the TIF.

What are the rules governing what can be discussed in a village board meeting?

    Can ANYthing be discussed,

or does it HAVE to be set down on an agenda pre-published from the meeting a certain amount of time before the meeting?

    What about the agenda item

    Unfinished Business

    ?

Can the TIF be under this apparent catch-all item?

I don't think it would fall under the "VI. Unfinished and Deferred Business" for the "old" board -- it was clear that they wanted the new board to vote on the issue.

I'm surprised they are swearing in the trustees we elected. Weren't we all meant to be deluded when we cast our votes? Oh right, not those votes, just the one.

Maybe they want to bore us to death, thinking we will lose interest. If they managed to shake off all the observers over the summer, then they could proceed. Or, it's under Unfinished Business. If only the old board could do unfinished business, how would it get done?
