It is ridiculous for them to imply anyone is on board with a parking structure on Pine. 1) Wiaduck said in a meeting it was ridiculous and not going to happen, words to that effect 2) Rush said here that there is no reason not to equally consider a location like the space behind First American 3) we are far from needing one, and 4) METRA does NOT contribute to parking structures, so WHY would we foot the bill for one that contemplates partial use by COMMUTERS?

I am trying to craft a proposal that will address the concerns of everybody, even Corbi, albeit in a modest way, to compete with the "Visionaires" that will be presenting on Feb. 10th. Unfortunately my hand is keeping me from doing any serious renderings, but I have worked out a plan that I think many of you would find interesting and probably approve. I need a little help to make the presentation. I need someone that can scan in a village plan and then put a few overlay blocks and colors on it, a couple of titles, etc. I will then paste this up on foam boards. Does anyone have the ability to do this? I have been trying to get the basic plan and parameters all day from the Village, but they won't give me a set until OK'd by DLK - they say thay are too expensive to "hand out to just anyone." Interesting, because I bet I'm the only one that was ever at Taliesin or spoke with Mr Wright and his assistants. What gets me is that there seems to be some kind of pre-screening of the 'Visionaires" and I don't know who selects them or on what basis. Can anyone help with this? Thank you.

My husband Thomas is actually going to do one of them, he is an architect and I think everyone will find the next workshop interesting, at least. I am sure your ideas and proposals will be more than welcome. Why don't you contact Diane Legge Kemp. She is always looking for volunteers.

make supporters of those who had not previously formed an opinionYes, Catherine, that is the impression I had. If you missed it the first time, SEE The Return of the Camiros, as he rides on his trusty steed up the steps of Town Hall and into the auditorium with his tie and blazer blazing, with sure hands on his clicker. It is the fight for the middle, for the Nixon/Corbi silent majority.

Does anyone know whether the written questions submitted by the residents in session 2 of Workshop 1 have been compiled in list form yet?
Also, does anyone know when and in what format the questions from both sessions will be answered? I imagine that some questions will be easier to answer than others and that some may require thought, investigation and discussions by the various commisions.
Thanks in advance.
