Is that the NE corner where the dentist's office is now (Orland Dentists?), across Burlington from Delaplaine Crossing?

Plan Commission, Preservation, LAC, ZBA and the Village Board? (But no Historical or EDC?) Wow, that's a lot of people they're getting together for one meeting. Must be a doozy of a project. Didn't we hear something about this property once before? Previous meeting minutes or something? Oh yeah, here's something:

Thanks for digging that up, Chris. I see they want the parking to be at the rear, but that will put it up against the next house on Deleplaine, which would probably not be so good for them. That building, as it is right now, makes a pretty good transition between the residential district and the B1. I wonder what the proposal will look like, where the driveway(s) will be, etc. And the setback - I think it's much nicer to have it back - as it is now - rather than like the VC. Delaplaine setback should be kept, for sure.

This mass meeting of the commissions is something they started up last year with my project on Burlington as the test case. This group meeting is done so the person(s) doing a developement only have one meeting to schedule for all the commissions involved, instead of one to two meetings for each commision individually. The commissions see the info presented make requests for any additionl info then make their recommendations to the board. That was how it was explained to me last year. ES

And that makes sense. I saw workers at your site today, Eric, before the snow hit. How is it going? What is your target for finishing - next August or so?

Looking for a target date in June 08, weather permitting of course. If the snow holds off for a few weeks we'll be good.
