Does anyone else think Daley is mortgaging the future?

Let's see, he's privatized The Skyway, Midway airport and now parking meters? And he's going to use the money to plug holes in the budget? Then what, after the cash is gone?

EDIT: I guess I'm not alone in thinking he's mortgaging the future. I googled "suntimes.com Daley parking meters" and got this link:

I liked Daley, but 19 years is too long even for a saint. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. It's time for him to go, though he has done good things.

Yes, he is mortgaging the future. And the illegal TIFs are stealing millions from the public school system there. Don't get me started on the Olympics. Here's our friend on the TIF subject, Joravsky, on the Olympics. See London and Athens for a preview of bankruptcy:
