First we had the bagel, then when Dylan spoke there was a revised tower, and now, I think that revision is gone and they went up higher, or steeper, no? I thought I saw the roof come off version two of the tower and then saw the studs going up for version three. I like version three better than version one, to be sure.

I still want the clock like the one in the Munich City Hall, where the little statues come out and go around every hour. We could immortalize all those that had a hand in perpetrating this fiasco in our midst. I have more than enough candidates, starting with the ZBA right through to the VM. We can have "The Dance of the Hours" and on holidays, like Halloween, for instance, there could be a speaker to play Danse Macabre. That ugly monster is macabre. Let's face it - we've all seen better warehouses than this fake whatever it is.
I happened to be in Oak Park yesterday and had to wait an hour for my wife, so I looked at some apartment houses there. A really nice old double court building on the south side of Lake just west of Oak Park shows what we could have had, and I saw in a Baird & Warner office some drawings of a block square complex going in on Harrison somewhere - both parairie-esque and would have looked much better here than this trap. That pink and yellow cheap pressed brick is simply awful - it must have been marked down because no one else would take it. And wait until the traffic starts exiting "right only" onto Longcommon and then looping around to go in the other direction - it will be worse than anticipated - especially when Woodside is one way. What idiots thought that up?

Imagine the great characters we could have on it. No death with a scythe for us. We could have "The Master Builder" in a hard hat with a roll of plans under his arm, a General on a horse, Florence Nightengals look-a-like, etc. People would flock here to see it. What are we waiting for?
