Not that it matters now, but Skilling talked about record rain in 24 hours. Our rain event was about 12 hours. My unofficial total in my rain gauge between 7 pm and 7 am was over 8 1/2 inches. I emptied 2 inches 9 pm and it had overflowed 6 1/2 inches by morning. Another inch next morning.
