    From the article:

"It's usually pretty consistent around election time," Krull said of the stolen election sign phenomenon. "It's usually kids, who move the signs to different yards."

Here are some interesting tips from Snopes regarding the vagaries of the voting procedure. Worth knowing.

This is why is STV should be removed. Our government is based on individuals being elected not parties.

This is a disgusting practice that could only be the fruit of low moral character or terminal self-righteousness. Or perhaps of drinking too much of the kool-aid.

I've seen more and more McCain signs vandalized today, sliced through or torn. Pretty juvenile behaviour.

Juvenile sounds right. First, they don't get the idea of respecting the other's opinion, and vive le difference . Let's hope they grow up. They will - after the buy their own house.

Also, from a practical view - they probably have not gone around the block enough times to understand - Illinois is as blue as the deep blue sea, and electoral delegates elect presidents, not individual voters+; even another 10,000 mccain signs would do nothing in the outcome of Illinois' X delegates. Riverside is , what, about 10 miles due west from Obama's house as the crow flies.

So I'll repeat the original post: What will obama supporters do after the election? what if he lost?

Unfortunately, this kind of activity seems to support the founding fathers' idea of the vote of an educated electoral delegate to be a better method of determining a president. Those constitution architects were geniuses. But you'd think we would be better behaved nowadays since more are literate than in 1787. We DO have the technology to have one person = one vote methodolgy.

We go back again to 'it's the music, not the words'. Kids, infants, canines, mental or real, hear and understand music and not logic, rationales, other points of view.

Mike - you remind me of when the Chicago Eight trial was going on, and Bill Kunstler came to Highland Park to do a fund raiser. The local Chief of Police thought they would cause a riot so he had the local businesses remove their records and take them home - in case the place was burned down. I don't want you guys to panic now. Have another scotch and wait for Armageddon....

OK, I'll answer the OP question, 'What will obama supporters do after the election?'

--You'll see about 500,000 people doing the moon walk at Grant Park. Yeah, be very scared !

Now , BEAT IT ! ( The Kid Is Not My Son ! )

...and get off my lawn, ya young punks!
