We use ATT DSL and every time it rains, storms or even sprinkles with a little wind the service drops.

Typically we can regain service with a "reboot", but UGH it gets very annoying this time of year.

Anyone have consistent/reliable "high speed" service in Riverside?

FYI - I had beucoup trouble with ATT DSL for years - constant outages and calls - and switched to U-Verse. It has worked flawlessly since the day I had it installed, which was also a pleasant experience. Only one time did I lose all service and that was when a lineman took my pair out on the pole and used them for another house. I had to go to the Lyons facility and bang on the door and get someone to come out and redo what the other guy did, but the U-Verse works constantly and no trouble so far - over a year. It may not be available everywhere though. Also, there are many, many deals and be sure to keep asking for a better price. Mine has actually gone down over the first year - I have landline, 200 HD TV channels and higher speed computer service - runs wirelessly about six which is better than twice as fast as I got from the enhanced DSL. It's about $117. with all the taxes, started at $130.

Coverage by AT&T for advanced products is very spotty in town. If you go to ATT.com and the U-Verse tab, you can type in your address (or phone #) and they will tell you if you can get it at your location.
