CITY MANAGER, City of Nome, Alaska. The City of Nome is seeking a highly capable and dedicated individual for the position of City Manager. The City Manager is the chief administrative officer for the City and responsible for administration of all City affairs in the manager's charge by law and ordinance. Nome is a 1st Class City with a population of 3,540, located on the Seward Peninsula. A Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or related field is desired. Five to seven years of experience as a municipal administrator is preferred. Preferred candidates will have served as a City Manager of a similar size organization or as a Deputy Director.
