This is an open invitation to join Tony Miezio of the Riverside Party for a "meet and greet" at Grumpy's on Saturday the 14th at 9:00 a.m. Show your support for a local business and get to know one of the candidates for Village Trustee.

Thanks Tony I welcome you to the community and to the fray. There will be those little sugary sprinkles on the cake donuts please. Cake donuts, I hate raised donuts.

Since February and March both have a Saturday the 14th, I will host the meet and greet on Saturday February 14th and Kelly Navarro (also a Riverside Party candidate for Trustee) will host a meet and greet on Saturday March 14th. Both will be at 9:00 a.m.

I love Grumpy's, but it's an awfully small venue for something this important.

I am glad, always, to see candidates publicly announce appearances in the public places of our town. I feel this town has been run from living rooms for too long. So, good on you.

However, I would like to see all of these candidates together so we can have some idea of how a possible new majority might function together. They are on one party slate, after all. But your website does say you are independent of one another. I call on your party to also call a town hall to give a presentation of your solutions to our problems, and to take questions and answers.

Anyone can use our Village Hall, and anything of local interest can be covered by our local cable channel. Please look into it.

Then I look forward to a public debate or debates between and amongst all candidates.

(Am I the only one who is not ready for prime-time on Saturday at 9am?)
