Hope this link works--it's in the Suburban Life. Anyway, Robin Weaver, former VM in Glen Ellyn, village administrator in Roselle, interim director of public works in Downers.

Glen Ellyn. Lovely old town, is it not? (Roosevelt Road aside.) Judging from the pix on their website, they have the downtown we're looking for.

Glen Ellyn is nice--a bit bigger than us, but similar in some ways. I believe they have a fairly active preservation/historical contingent in town as well.

I fail to understand why we can't print out an entire Press Release from the Village - that's what it is for - a public announcement intended to be widely distributed. That's why it is called a Press Release -right?

FYI - here's the link to the new VM contract for those that care to peruse that.

  6. Don, please don't cut and paste content created anywhere, newspaper or other website or government. Just post a link and an excerpt. If the Village wants to post that in its entirety here, they are welcome to do so. Since you didn't create it, don't post it here.

I understand the laws of copyright apply differently to works created by the government (we paid for them, so we own them, at least federally) but in any case, if you didn't create the work, just link to it here, don't copy and paste. Thanks.
