The new firm seems to be well-qualified. That said, Krone's firm seemed pretty capable as well.

I don't want (in the words of Mr. Gorman) to beat a dead horse here, but the cost issue still baffles me. We hire a Firm that charges more, and we're told it will save us money, but nobody explains how. If Gorman or Scalera said that the new firm will bill less hours, great--that's an explanation. But they haven't. There's been no explanation at all--just a statement from Gorman with no facts or figures to back it up.

The RCA board members are not very good with facts and figures. Our trustee in charge of Finance voted in favor of a property tax credit for improvements on historical homes without any information on how much the rest of the village was going to have to subsidize. Figures are not their strong suit.
