People "Are Occupying Wall Street Because Wall Street Has Occupied the Country"

Also gives some insight in the recent (inscrutable to me - in that how did this percolate up into the Sup. Ct docket?), supreme court ruling that corporations should be accorded similar rights as people. (Was it a supreme court ruling or legislation?)

I do not understand blind allegiance to one poitical party. Over the past several weeks, so much as been reported to embarrass those who proudly proclaim that they can support none other than Democrats!

Here are a few links to some recent stories:

    1. Jon Corzine - and MF Global (The good people of NJ should be glad he is no longer their governor)!

    2. Illinois Pensions - courtesy of the Daleys, the Cullertons, Speaker Madigan, and public employee unions and their collusion to defraud the taxpayer!

    3. And of course, Solyndra and other Department of Energy Loans

The first post was not blindly allegiant to one party, the democratic party. To wit:

The double picture of leaders of the democratic party and the republican party, obama and boehner attired in the costumes of power at the golf course with the caption, 'white people' associating both as basically the same type of people. 'White people' was used as the traditional demographic class of power. There was some irony in this phrase since one of the people self reports himself as being black - black and 'for the working man' vs the rich guys; but see more in this and the first post.

Moyers' speech indicted both parties nowadays --

Barack Obama criticizes bankers as "fat cats", then invites them to dine at a pricey New York restaurant where the tasting menu runs to $195 a person.

That's now the norm, and they get away with it. The President has raised more money from banks, hedge funds, and private equity managers than any Republican candidate, including Mitt Romney. Inch by inch he has conceded ground to them while espousing populist rhetoric that his very actions betray.

Let's name this for what it is: Democratic deviancy defined further downward. Our politicians are little more than money launderers in the trafficking of power and policy - fewer than six degrees of separation from the spirit and tactics of Tony Soprano.

Finally, there was a picture of Boehner as a nascar driver plastered with corporate spnosership - which is funny and works as pictures can only work , worth a 1,000 words - there was also a recent yahoo news item link showing that obama was also in bed with corporate lobbyist; Jus tnow I noticed that the link is gone; but here is a similar story ; again - both parties are in bed with monied interests vs the regular people.

Here is a more even handed picture
