Please stop the RCA bashing. Only Gorman and Sacchi have said they wanted the Parks and Rec to be restructured. Shevitz and Reynolds haven't said any such thing. To be fair, it's really split in half.

To be fair, I don't believe that the RCA is fair. Honestly, do you really believe that Shevitz and Reynolds would ever vote opposite Gorman and Sacchi?
Didn't Gorman have children who played in the very same parks that he now wants to turn back to nature? His kids could play in the parks but no other kids. What a hypocrite. Give me a break.

We have the support of thousands upon thousands of Riverside voters as opposed to a few dozen from last mondays meeting. Just wait until tonights meeting.

How did you come up with thousands upon thousands of voters?

In the last election - 1400 for Gorman, 1400 for Reynolds, 1200 for Sacchi, and 1200 for Schevitz. That equals over 4000 votes.

Are you saying we should move tonight's meeting to a larger venue like the gym at RBHS?
If so, please let the Village Manager of the need to move so he can properly notify Rivesidians.

What the heck kind of math is that?

That's the kind of math that turns down a 5k donation, that stops a parking lot that wouldn't have cost the taxpayers anything and that claims dismantling Parks and Rec will save the Village money.
Can't wait for tonights meeting--looking forward to seeing the thousands of voters. I don't know that the) gym will hold them all--maybe Shuey Stadium would be a better venue.

Why is is that RCA backers consider calling people out on unfulfilled platform promises bashing?

Allow me to state the obvious: 1400 voters are not "thousands upon thousands of VOTERS". That is 1 thousand 4 hundred votes per two candidates---and 1 thousand 2 hundred votes per two other candidates. Thousand upon HUNDREDS of voters, not thousands upon thousands of voters. My simple mind tells me that no more than fourteen hundred voters voted for these people. If a poll was taken today, the result would be much different. April '11 can't come soon enough.
