It would seem as though this Park & Rec issue is being pushed because of the humiliation of the crossing guards mess made by the RCA. Putting children in the middle again. Public safety for our children was not a priority, now they want to take the parks away from them. Perhaps they beleive this is ok since children are too young to vote. As for the 17 year old who spoke up on Monday night, it reminds me of "Footloose". It was a perfect example of how anti-youth the RCA is painting that brush. They didn't get their way on the crossing guard issue, and now they're going to take it out on our children.

Not sure about them targeting the kids specifically and willfully....it's just the kids happen to be where the money is. It seems ironic that they want to take it away from them now to fund programs for today at the expense of future budgets that will be paid for by....the kids!
