Condolences to the families and friends of these two fine Riverside ladies that perished last week in a freak accident that has now been clarified as "accidental death by drowning." A memorial planting is being organized to honor both of them. Nancy was a past-President of the Olmsted Society and Karen (RBHS Class of 1956) had recently donated to the RBHS Riverside Tree Bank program and was very interested in the "re-greening" of Riverside. Further news of the planned living memorial will be forthcoming.
