Perhaps most important to residents of Riverside who have wondered just how the Village Center will affect the downtown area, Liesenfelt said that a tenant for the largest commercial unit, a 5,300-square foot space at the corner of Longcommon and Burlington, is on the verge signing a contract.
Liesenfelt said that the contract, with an undisclosed restaurant, is currently in the hands of attorneys. It is possible, Liesenfelt said that the contract could be signed by June and a restaurant open sometime late in 2008.
