Kevin Wachtel, the Village's Finance Director, has prepared an excellent presentation on "Riverside and its pension predicament." Mr. Wachtel gives an overview of the Police Pension Fund and the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, and explains how these funds impact the Village's overall finances.
