    Here is how the trial of the Segways should proceed: Ask the vendor who placed the Segways at RB for evaluation if there is a cost to keep them. If there is a cost and a contract to be signed, thank the vendor and ask him to remove them from the school.

    What I have described is a fairly simple process to follow. There is NO WAY I want my taxes used to purchase/rent/lease these devices. End of trial.

    The idea of using Segways at a school is indeed rather perplexing. Given such issues as rising child obesity due to lack of exercise, I don't understand how one would justify having administrators and teachers zip around while we encourage our kids to walk and bike.
    Strange things are afoot (or not) at the Riverside Public Schools.

    Loose the Segway's and walk give me a break. I have been in larger factories and the don't have Segway's
