"Take it off....Take it all off." That's what we used to say at Minsky's. Take the paint off the old Luxfer prism glass and dump those hokey signs and we may have something better to look at.

I also noticed, on Friday, that Riverside Plumbing got their plaque embedded in the sidewalk in front of their store, for landmark status. Congrats to Art and Chris Canavera and everyone over at Riverside Plumbing for seeing that application through.
I wonder if someone is going to apply for landmark status for the whole building?

I'm glad to hear the Canaverases got that done, and I wondered the same thing Chris.
AND a bike rack has gone up outside Riverside Foods, on the east end of the trees.

I hope we will see a completion of the work but you never know. Doing something to make a building look temporarily worse seems to be a time-honored way for Riverside property owners to get the Village to give you what you want. I would hate to see that site end up with a four storey structure or for that matter some kind of it-and-run subsidy. Has anyone else noticed that many Riverside projects seem to be at a standstill?

Somebody needs to get those guys to pull the nails they have left sticking out of the posts and other trim. They are sharp, rusty and dangerous. The old metal covering for the posts has some sticking out too.
