Go take a look at the fabulous Halloween lighting that is going up on the Watertower. It's a million-dollar improvement and shows what creativity can accomplish. Hats off to the guys that did this - and donated it - and to the Rec Department for having the stroke of genius to do this. Imagine what can be done with seasonal lighting not only at the tower but elsewhere in the CBD. You won't believe the transformation... A toast to all those responsible... It's truly magical.

Yes, it was great to see it on my way to RB's homecoming game.
Kudos to the Class of '71 for having a reunion at Mollie's. Nice to have places in town to host groups of friends. Nice to have money spent in Riverside.

Nice. I hope that we try to publicize this to local and chicago media. It underlines RIverside as a 'different place' to go to. Fall, of course, is a great time to see Riverside, and with the bike path nearby and the zoo, there are those tie - ins.
I have seen other special stuff so publicised before (the murals at the Refectory, eg). I believe it was Faust who did this release.

The water tower lighting IS very cool. Off by ~ 9 pm tonight.

I went with my wife to look at the tower lighting last night. Great colors and we loved the Holloween images . Well done!
