According to the ad in the Landmark anyway. I hope they do and we'll be able to see them at the Holiday Stroll.

Some tasty scents in there this morning while waiting for the 11:00 train!

Also - Watch for the new restaurant to open in Brookfield (on Grand where Gemelli was)in mid-Dec. It's Xni-Pec, moving from 25th and Laramie. Yucatacan food - outstanding and very highly rated. Looking to add a lunchtime customer base and have a bigger kitchen. It is definitely a big plus for that area!!

Check 'real people' reviews at my favorite food blog:

Soul Amici Express is open and boy do they have a menu: breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a website reserved but there's nothing there. I'm trying to get a copy of the menu to post online. Breakfast sandwiches, cereal, pastries, oatmeal, berries/granola/yogurt, fruit, 10 or so sandwiches for lunch, half a dozen salads, soup, chili, and another dozen dinner entrees, including ribs and pasta.

It's unfortunate that there is no seating there; maybe they're working on that somehow.

They will be selling items from their lunch menu at the holiday stroll tonight, and will be serving cookies and hot apple cider along with Frosty the Snowman and the Riverside-Brookfield String Quartet.

Any reviews on the food yet? Haven't had the chance to pick anything up yet, but maybe this weekend...

I have had a breakfast sandwich, coffee, tea and a hot link sandwich for lunch, all good. Haven't made it for dinner yet. Since I don't commute by train, it's less convenient for me to run over there for dinner. One day the stars will align though.

EDIT: hard to screw up tea, I know. I'd only have myself to blame...

Here is their menu, in case you haven't already checked it out:
