    1. Ogden Avenue sure is smooth now, isn't it?

    2. Heading South out of Riverside, on Barrypoint, when you get to Ogden ave: that light used to take forever to change, even when there's no E/W traffic on Ogden. Hit it now, any hour of the night, and it responds to your car sitting there in under 10 seconds.

    3. Akenside sure is nicer now that it's been completely rebuilt.

    4. The bats that were lighting up the water tower and library were pretty neat while they lasted, and the Bats at the Library party they had on Friday looked to be a huge success.

    5. Looks like the Village Center has a new tenant, Provencal Construction (or Remodeling...) and there was a sign in the window that there were "Lease options available" for the other units. Maybe they will fill more soon.

    6. The Jem Café was packed on Friday night.

    Any other good news?

I believe it was Provencal that built the building.

The leaves are turning and it looks wonderful. Our trees are the jewels of Riverside.

We can look forward to Scott Zimmer's restaurant opening, I hope.

    More good news?

The RB football team, with its unique new offense, seems to be steamrolling through its conference. I really need to get to a game to see what they're up to--my understanding is that if you're a football fan, you really want to check this out.

Catherine, it was Provencal; no surprise there. If they have to rent somewhere, why not from something they already own? Getting a tenant in there has to be good for enticing more tenants to move in...

Back to the good news though: Dow up almost 600 points right now.

John - This Friday is the last home game of the regular season. It should be another great aerial show.

I missed last week's game due to a conflict, but there will be another this Friday. Looks like RB whopped Elmwood Park.

And, how about the baby Bornean orangutan just born at the zoo?
