Check out one of the things that our local public schools does very well in the upcoming performances of the The Music Man at 7 pm Wed and Thurs night, 7 pm. at the Hauser auditorium.

This musical, in addition to iconic chorus songs such as '76 trombones', 'Wells Fargo Wagon', and ballads such as 'There were birds on a hill', and a smart script that addresses the transformation of something that is - apparently - 'untrue' to becoming 'true' , (sort of like 'believing is seeing'), has some great sets created by the local River City folk. Not only that, as gilligan might say, it's free. :)

Wow - If I was a parent of Marian the librarian I'd be pretty proud!! She did an awesome job - as did the other kids, of course (like stage crew and salesman #3.)

Marian the librarian has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. It's hard to believe she is only an 8th grader. Applause for the entire cast and crew, but a standing ovation for Marian. I hope we haven't heard the last of her. No, I'm not her parent.

Hauser is performing it again tomorrow night. For a real treat, go see it.

Admission is free but the Girl Scouts are collecting donations at the door. I don't know what the donations are for.

Agree about Marian! An amazing girl. I am certain her parents are very proud,
    And the sheriff? Wow!

All the kids, really it is so wonderful to see them, so much talent, high fiving as the curtain closes. Love It!

I am often amazed at the talent in this community.
    Tonight was no exception.

So, if you were not lucky enough to catch it tonight, you still have tomorrow.

What a great exhibition of the talent these young people have!! Once again, Mr Mason, Ms Lynch and crew have brought down the house with their vision and hard work.

Reading the list of cast, crew and workers took almost as long as the play itself - a testament to the dedication all the parents and friends have in making this yearly endeavor a 'can't miss' spectacle....Congratulations to all involved!!
